INTRODUCTION

Headaches are common among children. One third of all seven year old and one half of all fifteen year old children experience headaches.Two and one half percent of all seven year old and fifteen percent of all fifteen year old children have “frequent” headaches. Current evaluation involves taking a history and performing physical and neurological examinations; treatment consists of palliative care such as rest and/or analgesics.
